Born in 1978 in Budapest, Hungary, Sophie began singing as a child with the Hungarian State Opera Children's Choir. Later Sophie studied classical music, piano and singing at the Leo Weiner Music School in Budapest. Sophie has been a professional musician since 1996, when she began her career in Scandinavia performing with a show band on cruise ships.

In 1998 Sophie began performing as a live club musician at premier Hungarian venues. She also started working as a professional session artist composing and recording lead vocals, backing vocals,  starring in radio jingles and television commercials.

 

In 2002 Sophie released her first solo record: Zsófi ‎– Kell Valami Még (D&B Group), backed by the largest commercial television channel in Hungary.

 

In 2004 Sophie was contracted to perform in a show band on Disney Magic, one of the largest Disney Cruise Line ships in the world.

​

In 2007 the song ’Time in Motion,’ which Sophie composed with Jay Lumen, was featured on the UK Ministry of Sound's "Best of” selection. The song entered the UK Club Chart TOP 40 at number 7.

In 2009 Lenny Kravitz personally chose Sophie to be the opening act for his Let Love Rule concert tour in Hungary. Sophie's favourite genres are gospel, soul, funky, pop, eurodance, jazz and acid jazz. Sophie also loves classical music and has had the honour of working with the greatest symphonic orchestras and jazz musicians in Hungary.

In 2016 Lane McCray chose her to be a part of La Bouche.
